No joy here despite a spirited search.

Dianne and I stopped off while hiking down to the old hydro plant. This seems to be missing. I saw some geo timber that looked like a hide but no cache. Gave the general area a pretty good search.

Looked for a few minutes but we were in pretty bad shape (see our log for Vorticity's Demise) and we moved on.

Out caching today for a few targeted caches! Had a blast though I am extremely exhausted right now. The hike to the powerplant from Skaguay was NO JOKE. I am in decent hiking / endurance shape and my route ended up charting over 13.6 miles and an elevation gain of just over 4000'. 9 hours and 20 minutes later, I was back in the car needing a beer!

This was my targeted cache of the day! I needed a First to Find for the month of May and I also wanted to go for a hike. Once I figured out that Welcome to My World final was in the general area, I figured I could get three things done at once.

When CaptnWizKidd said that this one would be difficult, he wasn't joking! Even with a Garmin Montana 650, my error rate within the walls was 30 to 50'! I began searching high and low for this one. Luckily ended up with a smiley (one way or another).

I left a Geocoin in this one called "Did Not Find Coin" Its a white face with a frown! That pretty much summed up how long it took to turn that frown upside down.

Thanks for placing the cache. It is in perfect caching conditions (minus the 600' walls that eat GPS signals for lunch!
