Dogs  Takes less than an hour  Scenic view  Not Available at all times  Parking available  Public restrooms nearby  Picnic tables nearby  No Bicycles  Horses  Medium hike (1km-10km)  Wireless Beacon

This is a short multicache that features a Chirp wireless beacon. If you don't have a GPS which supports Chirps, you can use the hints to find the second waypoint. Please stay on established, trails while hiking through Morrison Town Park and around the reservoir. The hike is less than a mile round-trip.
Please stay out of the reservoir as it is a public water supply!
Morrison Reservoir is home to many types of birds throughout the year. Depending on the season, you might see magpies, redwing blackbirds, ducks, Canadian geese, blue herons, hawks, crows and many other varieties of birds around the reservoir. During your walk, listen for the chirping birds (and the Chirp beacon) and enjoy the awesome views to the north of Red Rocks and Mt. Morrison.

Park at Mt. Falcon/Morrison Town Park parking lot. Take the established, unmarked trail from the northwest corner of the parking lot and head north towards the first waypoint. There are trails about 350' and 450' north of the trailhead coordinates which lead west.

Congratulations to GrizzlyCatcher for the FTF. Enjoy your new TB!

Waypoint 1: With eagle eyes, study the above image closely. If you use your migrating skills successfully, you should know your destination before heading to the first waypoint. If you have the know-how and the right equipment, you can navigate to the waypoint by using the image above. If you can't view the image on your GPS device, look for a sign. Once you are at waypoint 1, listen for a Chirp with your GPS. To listen for the Chirp, turn on the Chirp Searching feature on your GPS. For example, Setup -> Geocaches -> Chirp Searching On.
Waypoint 2: Use the shop number (AB-CDE) and diameter (FG) at the second waypoint to find
the final coordinates: 39 38.DCE -105 11.AFF

It's been 19 lonely months for Chirp, but he/she/it is doing fine. Not surprisingly, there was no chirp-peep at WP1, but WP2 was evident and the data for the final coordinates was in place. Thanks for a fun field puzzle.

Could not find WP1 and WP2.
But wandered around the reservoir and found the final WP.
With the puzzle the final coordinates were easy.
Great hide in a beautiful location.

This one has taken me over a couple of years to finish the cache. The first time I had run out of time and then had to head back home in Oregon. Finally made the final WP and made the calculation for the final. Thanks for placing.
Gets a fav.
