It's not easy for me to let a ftf go unfound by me. The wife says I'm nuts, but the woods are calling. My new knee feels good. And it needs some exercise. I have a plan and maybe I might find it this time. Last time, I searched every tree standing or fallen in a 50-foot radius. This time, I'll expand that search out to 150 feet. Starting on what I thought would be the easiest side of the trail, I started my search. I got lucky really guick and found the little dickens just off the trail and 120 ft from ground zero. Very enjoyable day in the woods with Sophie and the wildlife. Sophie enjoyed smelling every bush and tree. 2 hours looking yesterday and about 45 minutes today, and this [FTF] ?? is mine. Thanks, Slade2029, for a reason to come out here again. I have spent many years on this mountain hunting, but this year because of the knee plans were not made to come up.

Beautiful day for a ride to the up the hill and the possibility of a new cache find. The ride was great. The colors were even better, but the cache was not found. Easy walk to ground zero, which was about 10 ft off the trail but no hiding place. Searched the area of about 75 feet from ground zero. Lost of good hiding places but were all empty. Thought my gps might be not working correctly I went to a near by cache I had found last year to verify that the gps was working. And it was right on. May be the coordinates are incorrect, the container has been carried off by a pack rat, or I am just blind. Good luck to the next cacher.
