This geocache is not hidden at the posted coordinates.  My three daughters and I worked hard on this hide, and we want you to appreciate a few of the things that we have appreciated on this side of Loveland.  You will need to travel to four locations in order to work out the location of the actual geocache.

The four clues below correspond to the four waypoints provided, in the order provided (the first waypoint is the posted coordinates).

The geocache is hidden at the following coordinates:

N 40 A.B

W 105 C.D

A = Add the yellow digits on the west side and subtract the number of strings on the Angel's harp

B = Looking on the north side, the number of triangles on the white stripe multiplied by 32

C = The total number of people who have been born divided by 6

D = The first digit is the number of beetles on the east side. The second digit is the number of beetles on the top plus the number of beetles on the south side. The third digit is the number of beetles on the north side divided by 2.

You can check your answers for this puzzle on GeoChecker.com.

Golly, I've wanted to get after this cache for a long time, but always prioritized my time in ways that kept me from working on it. Today I had some "big" plans; with the wet mountain trails and this morning's misty conditions, I made a last minute decision to change my focus to try for several caches in western Loveland. I'm glad I did, as I found three long-wanted caches with my puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo, including this one. Zaba and Chimi experienced as pleasant a morning as I did, despite the clouds and light rain; they had a couple of nice hikes--and as Labradors, they appreciated the wet environment a lot more than I did!!

I wasn't certain what to expect as I started my way on the journey. I appreciate transformer art, and have several caches using transformer cabinet artwork in my Transform Yourself, Fort Collins series. So I was eager to see what these stages would include as artwork. I was certainly satisfied! I was a bit apprehensive about actually completing this multi, as various past finders have indicated issues they encountered. However, using my iPhone I worked my way through the series pretty easily with two notable questions: at the first stage, it's interesting that the number of strings on the harp differs above and below the hand! I chose the correct number. At the triangle stage, I went nuts. There are several possible answers, and there are certainly more very specific triangles in the white stripe than the one that actually works on the checker. The other two stops were slam dunks. Once I had the info gathered, I used the geocheck feature to confirm my calculated coordinates. My first two or three coordinate inputs were unsuccessful, but then I hit on the correct number for triangles and had the pleasure of a "success" indicator. From there it was a nice drive and walk to the final cache, which offers unique art work as per the theme of the sequence.

This was a very satisfying find. Thanks so much for it, jaredandkayla! It gets a Fav point.

I've noticed the power boxes about town for a long time now. It's nice to make a cache out of them. Left a pathtag. Thanks!

Braved the snow to go out and check on this one. I'm afraid it needs a little TLC. Disabling for a bit.
