Halloween was my favorite holiday as a kid, so I appreciate the sentiment. Nice, spooky tree to hide under, but might be kinda scary if the winds blow. A bear had recently been in the area too, flipping over big rocks to get at ants.

Spent the day hiking in the area. Grabbed this one on the way to the peak. TFTC

A quick find on the way up to the top, finally. I've been up/down this way three times and haven't made it to the top of Blodgett until today.

Just checking on the cache. Looks like we will need to do a little re-stocking soon. For now so took the custard certificate and left some cold hard cash. It was fun to read the log!

Set out on one hell of a hike today! I've been wanting to get up Blodgett for so long now! Kerewin0430 was happy to join me on this killer hike! We made it up to this point with relative ease. Great little lookout spot! Found the cache quickly, signed and stamped the log. All is well. From here we headed up to the top! Thanks for placing this one!

Set out for a hike with RPieperCO today - had no idea it would be this steep! Wow, what a good workout!! Geez! We went to the top and back down the other side to check out the plane wreck. We both drew blood along the way, but our efforts were rewarded with wild raspberries - SO MANY wild raspberries! This cache is in great shape. Thanks for the first smiley of the day!

Cache is in good shape. My feet hurt after the hike down :) Thanks the placement!

Mm mph. I think it's neither a D2, nor a T3.... quite a scenic climb! Some logs mention good, accurate coord's but I found it quite a ways up the rock pile at the base of a big, standing burnt tree.

Tftc!
Great sunny day for hiking up Blodgett
Hoping to find the wreckage, because what better way to spend Memorial Day than by honoring those who fought for America?

I managed to pick this one up while on a short hike around the base of MT Blodgett to recon trails. Thanks to the CO for placing this cache for everyone to find.
