Abandoned mines  Dangerous area  Not Wheelchair accessible  Motorcycles  Quads  Off-road vehicles  Not Stroller accessible  Snowshoes  Abandoned Structure  Short hike (less than 1km)

Found this while hiking with my family.  I tried to find it's history on the internet but failed.  If you know the history, or find it, we would love to hear it. Great for kids with WITH supervision. Happy caching.
About a 20-30 min hike from the forest road.  Hike starts at a smaller forest road on the south side of main forest road and turns into a less traveled single track at the campsite.  We were actually camping here when we found it.  Really cool find!  Please be kind to this historic area?!

Found while 4 wheeling in the area. Almost missed it as I found the cabin and assumed it was the cache until I read the notes "Iron Monster". Super cache, and definitely causes one to wonder what they were doing with it.

This cache provided another fun adventure. After we left the trail we had to make our way across the stream. We first encountered the cabin and the found our way to the historical device. The coordinates weren't spot on but not too far off. We really enjoy caches like this one and really appreciate COs that give us a good excuse for an adventure. Thanks so much for this one.

Well we searched and searched for an hour and were about to give up but decided to take a break and walk around the area and took lots of pictures and crossed the creek to the other cabin and then came back to try again, and found it right away. Guess it helps to take a break. We loved this one and think we know someone who has the history of this place. Will come back when we find out more. Thanks for showing us this piece of history, it made our day! This is definitely a favorite!

Found the location but were more interested in the area and didn't look for the cache with our four dogs, too dangerous for them around that area. Will go back later to find the actual cache. The cabin over by the creek is cool.
