This cache is near the Platte River, one of Colorado's most popular places. There has been many improvements along the Platte to add beauty and safety and enhance the experience for all who wish to enjoy it, like walking and bike paths, 'natural' rock retainers, ampatheaters for gazing, lighting around businesses for evening enjoyment, and poo portals to make cleaning up after man's best friend easy and convenient. This stop is no exception!

Yesterday I had two DNFs and zero finds. I messaged a friend and previous finder on this one after the DNF. What I was told made me think I had actually touched the cache. Turns out I hadn't although I had a similar idea about what it might be. However, this is absolutely hidden in plain sight and I'm bummed I missed it yesterday. But I take consolation that many others have missed it as well. But still, I should've expanded my search a bit.

Everything is in great condition here although, for me, the cache was slightly south of where the coords had me. The attached coords reflect the area where I found it as best as I could get a reading. With the trees it is a little tough.

The attached picture is just of the beauty of the area, nothing to do with the actual hiding place.
