All the rest of the canyons in the area seem to have an "Outlook" cache named after them, we figured that Monitor Creek needs one also! Use the attached way-point to get on the right track.

An (relatively?) easy cache that can be accessed in high clearance vehicle, enjoy the view down into the joining of Escalante, Dry, Potter and Monitor Creeks/Canyons to the NE and Delta beyond

While setting our nearby "Ruby Multi Series" we notice on sat view that there was a BLM Catchment nearby so marked it on my GPS for future investigation.  Had already set three other Pila de Agua Series caches but had not yet published them.  After finessing the Ruby series a bit, we finally took the time to come looking for the Pila and ended up out here while looking for the closest point.  The location just begged for a cache!  The creek/canyon below parallels 25 Mesa Rd for many miles to the SW - splitting into two with Little Monitor Creek staying closer yet to the road - Little Monitor Cache (and Trail-head) bearing that name.

FTF goes to Rojo!

Checked the distance from Pila IV and I was close so kept going cross country toward this cache. Had a little bounce in the area, maybe due to the storms, but finally had to get my nose out of the GPSr and look around. Made quick work of it after that. Went to the edge and looked across to a familiar site. Hey, I was just over there at Lunch Stop last week! It's interesting to see all sides and different views of this canyon country. Thanks for another overlook.

Better day than the last time we were up in the cold blowing wind.
