Beautiful scenery, a nice hike into a secluded area.


  We hid it along one of our favorite trails.  Hope you have as much fun finding it as my mom and I did hiding it!

The container completely disintegrated as I tried to open it. It’s very brittle plastic. Unfortunately I didn’t have anything with me to replace it with. I signed the log but with any rain at all it will be completely destroyed. Cool place that I never knew was there though thanks for taking me there

This cabin holds years of memories for us ever since we've been riding in the park. We do ride in from Chatfield but whichever way you come from the north we do have to cross water which isn't a problem for the horses as long as it's not too high. We usually stop here for lunch which we did again today. The big pile of rusted fence to the NW of the cabin was picked up by our Back Country Horsemen volunteers to protect wildlife & our horses with the promise the park would haul it out but they never did.
A fav point for a cache I could ride to.
