Today, after the Inquiring Minds event, I went caching with my caching buddies, @2lablovers . We roamed the areas west of Berthoud and grabbed a variety of cache types. Just as we left the event a storm kicked up and dumped on us. Pretty hard to see in front of us, but we made it. By the end of the adventure, the rain was barely a trickle. It was a lot of fun. TFTC!

I found a mouse looking up at me from the ground boxes, and then disturbed a mother bird on her nest (which has chicks in it now), so GanderGoose and I abandoned the search in favor of wildlife survival. I'd recommend waiting just a bit to approach this GZ, until the chicks fledge. As for the mouse, well hey, whatever...

There are two nests here and one is occupied. Unfortunately, the bird was disturbed so we immediately left to promote the bird's survival.
