A 2 stage multi-cache. It is a replica of one of our California caches (GCMAA1)
This cache is rated 5 stars only because special equipment is needed at the posted coordinates in order to obtain the coordinates for the actual cache location. For those with the necessary equipment, it won't be too difficult. In fact, you may not need to even leave your vehicle!

We hope that cachers without the necessary special equipment will try to accompany those who do have the proper techie tools. For those without the necessary equipment, email us and maybe we can arrange a time to meet you at the first stage... we're there A LOT! What we DON'T want is for those who have found the cache to simply give the coordinates to others. What fun is that?

No need to cross or enter private property to access this cache. You can drive part of the way to the final stage, but you'll also need to take a short walk.

Here are a couple of interesting sites related to the theme of this cache:

I got the needed info at the first stop but couldn't find the final. I see that it has gone missing a few times already which makes me wonder if it is still there and if it is still a regular.

Confusing, and I think I confused a home owner in the area

Found on an awesome trip out west seeing various points of interest while in the area from Orlando. My week long trip included Denver, Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, El Dorado Springs, Salt Lake City and cities to the north, Idaho Falls, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Cody, Laramie, Cheyenne, Ft Collins and back to Denver. In 6 days, I managed to drive 2,400 miles and grab many cool caches along the way. I had virtuals targeted and a few specific DT combos. The scenery out here was amazing and the trip was definitely memorable to say the least. Yellowstone provided over 10 bear sightings and the usual bison and elk galore.

BOOMSTICKS!!! This was one of the major targets of the trip with me looking for a few selective DT combinations pre-2008 for a fizzy in Florida. This one fit the bill and I figured out what to do on stage 1 ahead of time. Perfect execution and the final container is my favorite!!! Favorite point for all parts of this cache!!!

I've been waiting to finish this one for a long time now. I love the idea behind it -- definitely a favorite! I picked up a couple of Jeep TBs to move along. The cache seems a little too easy to find though. If it goes missing again, I'd suggest replacing it with a smaller container. Thanks!

Today is a monumental day for us; we are logging this cache. Around 8 or 9 years ago we stumbled across this cache by accident when hiking with our grandson. Although we did not know about geocaching at the time, Dylan wrote a note and signed his name. Fast forward to 2015 when we solved this cache for the final location and had the aha moment, but could not find it. Thank you for replacing the container. I did not want to see this cache archived as it is an older one and pretty cool!

Container has been replaced and restocked.

I found the coordinates easily enough (very cool), but nothing at the cache site. Not the original cache nor a replacement that someone apparently added. This one definitely needs maintenance. The CO needs to sort out what's going on down there.

Got the second stage coordinates without any trouble. However, cannot find the cache. Lots of grass and weeds now covering the area making the search next to impossible. No joy.

After having found quite a lot of challenges nd virtuals earlier today I made this detour to search for this cache because of the D/T-rating. I had an idea of what to expect at the coordinates, and this turned out to be correct. I have found a very similar one in my hometown a few years ago. The coordinates for the final was obtained quite easily, actually, I didn't have to leave the car at this stage.

Arriving the final coordinates I was a bit unsure of what side of the road to search at first. After some searching I found two shed snakeskins, which kind of scared me. (I am from Norway where we have no very venomous snakes) Eventually I found what I assume was the replacement cache. Thanks to the CO for a nice cache, and to whoever placed the replacement.
