While in SW Kansas this summer I’ve traveled over 19,244 miles (thus far) geocaching and seeing the sights in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming. Unfortunately, although I tried, I was unable to work any events into my schedule. So, I decided to host my own, four in fact, to meet others before I head back east.
It was pretty cool that four different cachers made all four events and that these were the first four events for one cacher. Also, it was pretty cool that folks traveling from as far away as eight hours for the events and some cachers I know from the east coast showed up as well. Thanks to all who made it to this event. I hope I meet up with you again out there.

Great series of events today. Thanks to gypc for hosting all four events today. Wish we had met four months when you arrived in Kansas. Hope to meet up again down the line. Safe travels till we meet again.

Four Events, Four States, One Day! That was just too unusual an opportunity to miss so I made a geo weekend of it - left home base (northwest of Oklahoma City) yesterday morning and cached my way up to Guymon to spend the night, then it was off to events in Kansas - Oklahoma - New Mexico - Colorado. Brings back memories, the first time I did seven states in a day started at the west end of the Oklahoma Panhandle. This was the fourth and last and we have been to four states today! It is so much fun to meet new cachers and renew acquaintences with old friends. Thanks for the event!
