The Postman Always Rings Twice is a 1934 crime novel by James M. Cain. The novel was quite successful and notorious upon publication, and is regarded as one of the more important crime novels of the 20th century. Fast-moving and brief (only about 100 pages long, depending on the edition), the novel's mix of sexuality and violence was startling in its time, and saw the book banned in Boston. It is also included in the Modern Library 100 Best Novels list. It has been adapted as a motion picture five times. The 1946 version is probably the best known, and is regarded as an important film noir. The title is something of a non sequitur in that nowhere in the novel does a postman appear, nor is one even alluded to.
The cache is also something of a non sequitur, as The Postman Always Rings Twice has nothing to do with the cache. However, if you can't find it, a Geocacher should always check twice before posting a DNF. There is easy parking on the street right by GZ.

In the years since the cache was first hidden, Stonehaven Park has been built near the GZ. You can enjoy the amenities there once you are finished with the hunt.

After looking every time we’ve been to the park for last 2 years, we finally found this one! And on my birthday so yay! Log is missing but signed a scrap I had. Will try to remember paper next visit. Grabbed the TB and will move along. TFTC!!

Getting back into GC w/the fam and saw the closest cache to my house was a DNF. I checked it out and saw that the cache had been slightly moved and was now almost inaccessible. I cleaned the container up and put back where I originally found it. Added my 1st ever TB so hopefully someone else finds and moves that along. Thanks to the cache owner for spending so much time keeping this one up and running. Glad to be able to do my little part today. Happy caching everyone!

Working on my cache a day challenge. Very nice geocache. I looked around until the coast seemed clear but as I pulled out the cache, a couple of muggles walked by and waved... so I waved back, signed the log, took a picture, then waited for them to walk past the park, then put the cache back.

Muggles at the GZ. We drove away, grabbed other caches, then returned about an hour later. Surprisingly, they were still standing there in the blowing snow. But iy was obvious they were nearly done. So we waited another 5 minutes until they bobbled away. Great hide and container. Found with @WindAtMyBack. Tftc!
