7-30-11 It seems the shiny thing is missing. It was a coil of shiny metal strap. I changed the hint (near the shiny thing) as it apparently isn't relavent any more.

After grabbing a nearby cache, @intrepiidexplorer and I headed over to look for this one. Two red tailed hawks circled over our heads and skreeched in protest. We found the cache and the logbook. Strangely, like several other caches in the area, we found that the most recent finder didn't sign the log. I only mention this because they also claimed to have found other caches in the area that have been DNFed for a year. Rant off. Great placement and thanks for taking us to this beautiful area. Tftc!
