This cache is in Castlewood Canyon State Park.  Entrance fee is required.  This cache is along the trail that goes to the canyon's waterfall.

Took a second, but we made the find!


NTM and I had a late start to the day, but the sky was storm-free all day and it was nice and warm out. We ended up finding 7/8 of the caches we searched for in the ~5.5 miles that we took on. Thankfully, we brought the hammock so we were able to hang out and have lunch from the trail as well. Thanks for all the caches, they were in pretty decent condition considering the winter we just had.

This took me longer than it should. Very nice boulder field, but a shame someone broke beer bottles in the streambed. We saw lots of birds along our hike: gnatcatchers, violet-green swallows, wren, buzzard, crows, robins, and my fav: orange-crowned warbler

The walk along this stretch was really nice. Shade from the trees, and the sound of the creek flowing close by. Lots of places to get off the trail and climb about the rocks! GPS took us right to this one. Took nothing, left nothing, signed the log. Thanks for the cache!

Another nice cache by silverscout. Too many mosquitoes in this area. It's a good thing that we found the cache quickly. Left TB for the next cacher to move along. Tftc.
