Cache that is located about 20 ft from Colorado Trail and yet accessible from the County Road 398 Parking and and easy walk on trail for about 250 ft.
OldNo7MedicineShow was taken to this place on Labor Day weekend by Tori and it is a "first cache" placed by a "newbie" to the sport. She wanted it to be more accessible so we didn't put it at high altitude and made it accessible to many.

A nice level walk!

Take Chaffee County Road 398 behind Granite Store to the west about 5 miles. The Fall colors are starting to become INCREDIBLE!

Continuing up this road will take you from 9500 ft in altitude to 12,000 ft in Altitude (4x4 vehicle at that stage)

Painted ZipLoc plastic container.
Original contents include a OldNo7 FTF Card and $1, a small Yo-Yo, a carbeener Pen combo, a freshwater native mussel shell (the good kind), a small race car, a small pencil and logbook.

We be two ole farts (and a dog) from Arkansas. We left home in mid August and have vowed to not return til we have a 1,000 caches in the bag. We left with 150+ replacement caches - if yours is cracked or wet, we will replace it. If there are 3+ DNF's we will replace it.

Found quickly while in the mountains enjoying the day. Cache in ok shape lid is cracked and contents are a little damp. Thank for placing this cache for us to find.

Beautiful day to be out geocaching. Container lid is cracked and missing edges. Log is damp. So sorry we had nothing to fix or replace it. Didn't take anything. We left a key chain with pink boxing gloves to celebrate 20 year cancer survivor and army man to honor our nephew serving in the army. TFTC.
