Suddenly September
Original contents include-
Collectible Pepsi Card w/ sparkles
8-pack of markers
Large translucent ball with glitter suspended inside (I had a hard time parting with this, but it's for the best...)
Build-a-bear frog toy
100 pesos (I think..)
Very cool Geocoin

All in an ammo box

Getting there- take Foxton Road to Parking for Reynold's Park Campground. Cache is about .3 miles NW of suggested parking coordinates as the Chickadee flies.

Take Chickadee trail to Hummingbird trail and head uphill. The trail is well-maintained, and there is room for hikers and mountain bikers alike. There are a few other caches in this park on both sides of Foxton.

There is a 250-400 foot elevation gain depending on which route you take, but the trail is well-maintained.

Cache is only a few feet off of the trail.

Great views, and lots of room for other caches to be hidden in this park. hint hint....

PLEASE HIDE WELL AFTER FINDING.

Such a bummer today with this one. I looked for around 20 minutes with no luck. Oh well, I'll be back!

My goal today was to get the new Trail Mix #25 cache and clear out the north side trails. Had to read the logs to find this one in the snow. Several muggle families have signed the log and all is in good shape. Goal accomplished! Cheers!

Parked in main/west lot. Up Hummingbird (80% clear) to North Fork (50% clear). Out and back to TM #25 cache (all clear to get to cache) on North Fork, then down Chickadee (95% snow) to Hummingbird and across the road to Songbird (95% snow) and back to parking. About 5.5 mi loop.

My #978 on day 320 of streak with David. Parked at campground parking. Nice hike through lots of wildflowers on our second full day at this altitude. Actually walked a few hundred feet past it because I was just hiking rather than looking at GPS. Signed earlier in book than last page. Just the right kind of hide along the trail. Views and wildflowers earn a favorite point. TFTC.

Pikes Peak faintly on left.

OK, cool, it's about 0.23 miles from the road. And there's a trail leading in the right direction. Get the distance down to about .18 miles, but wait, there's a switchback. Out the switchback to about 0.23 miles...and back and forth and back and forth. Finally get to a hundred feet and the GPSr is pointing straight up the hill and trail is going at a right angle. Start bushwhacking up the hill, getting closer...and what do I find? The trail! Long story short, I didn't have the details of the cache, but if my entry makes you remember anything, remember to stay on the trail. It's very close to the trail and it does loop back around. Anyway fun hike, nice hide and TFTC!
