National Golf Day is a major charitable event, sponsored annually since 1952 by the PGA.


On National Golf Day, all of the over 4,300 professional members of the PGA are encouraged to play golf with contributors. The entry fees of contributors goes towards a wide range of charitable causes. Each year, a top ranked golfer is made chairman of this event. This is a truely admirable and worthy event. Many golf course hold their own events, with the proceeds going to charities.

Its been a long hot summer in Texas, I've been trying to get out and do a caching trip a couple of times this summer, but it never worked out. Finally managed to get a week off, and am so happy to be out here in Colorado. The weather if perfect, and there is a load of caches that need my name on Smile Thanks so much for the hide imusttravel2000, I really enjoyed finiding this cache!

Enjoying another day traversing the countryside, acquiring many miles and boosting cache numbers and others in between along the power trails!
Nothing better than caching along the back country roads of America! Thanks for placing these out here. Most were in good shape in these sections however i did replaced wet logs and broken containers as needed. Initialed logs

I teamed up with BlindReff and Night-Hawk on what has become
a regular trip to GeoWoodstock for us each year.

This was my Approve FAVORITE Approve day in the series due to my new favorite sport.

We used a stamp imprinted with We Nailed It to sign most of the logs,
but there were times when I used my personal stamp to include my cache
name on some of the log sheets as well.

Thanks to imusttravel2000 for hiding and maintaining this geocache.
