I love this area, and I wanted to place a cache here for a while and somewhere near to the spot Henthorne last hung out. Be careful this area can be dangerous when wet or snowy.

Enjoy the hike, stay on the trail.

PS I had placed this cache a while ago but misplaced the coordinints so I am just now putting it online, I dont think it has been found before being listed here.

Thank you to the previous cacher who replaced this cache! We found it with no issues, and it was a great break on our way to Mohawk Lake. Gorgeous views! We made the hike with four kids: 5, 7, 9, & 10. It was a great experience!

Saw the long history of DNFs on this one as well as that it was last found over two years ago. We gave it only a cursory search on the way up. Read the cache description and story behind the cache name when we were up at the lake and taking in the views. Thought that this cache needed to be kept alive. I had a small size container and a receipt that could fill in for a make-shift log. On our way back down the trail, we replaced the cache. Put the replacement in the same location described in the hint. Cache is resting between two larger roots and under a couple of rocks within a few feet of where the posted coordinates consistently pointed us, but still with respect to where the hint suggested cachers should look. Thanks.
