One "rough" mile (about 2 1/2 miles round trip) with some steep terrain from the Cisneros Trailhead parking area. Located in the San Isabel Lake Picnic/Campgrounds. There is a five dollar per car entry fee, but well worth the views from, and to, the cache site.****Congrats to ConnArtist for FTF****
A hike that is East of the Marion Falls cache, and with an Elevation of 10,076 feet. Follow the same route to the parking area for this cache as for Marion Falls. You may want to bring your camera, and be careful and watch your step at the cache area please.

It took almost all of our energy and geocaching skills to make this find. This was an adventure for us flatlanders. It was the altitude that really wore us down. But ultimately we did make the find and signed the log book

After visiting the mine with mldisc I decided to give this one a shot, only 400 meters away. Headed up the faint trail which never lets up in steepness. Lots of fallen trees to navigate over and under. Jumped another creek and crossed a boulder field and then spotted where GZ was. Another steep trek up and finally made it. My GPS never got below 8 meters but I managed to find it just fine. Sat up here and drank a Powerade and enjoyed the view, then headed back to mldisc at the mine. What a 400 meters that trip was!
Thanks for a fun one and bringing me to another spot I'd have never seen if it wasn't for geocaching. Added a pic showing where this cache is in relation to the Marion Mine.

The mine is by the big rock in the upper right.

Was in the area to do a little trail riding with two good friends. We needed a little break and the view from here was just what we needed, along with me being able to get this cache. Cache is in great shape. TFTC SL

Great little outing with Swaltalicious and her son, who I had the pleasure of lugging up the mountain.

Got this one after Marion Falls. Found a little trail starting from Marion Falls heading this direction. The trail petered out and we ended up bushwacking to finish this one off. Wonderful views from up there. Found a good trail to head back down to the truck on.

We were trail riding from St. Charles and had to stop and get this coin since it had been here over a year. Great spot for our trail treat break. TFTC SL
