Located at the junction of Kansas, Nebraska and Colorado this cache is a virtual one as it is located on private property.
I listed this cache in Colorado, just because that's where the entrance is located. The easiest access is off of Highway 27 at the Devil's Gap/3 Corners entrance. This is marked but the sign is set back from the road and down in a ditch so watch carefully! You will be going thru open range area so drive slowly and watch for very tolerant (or is it stubborn?) cattle in the area. About half way thru the open range there is a 2 lane trail (accessible with a car) that goes .4 of a mile to a green fenced-in area. Someone has placed a mailbox there for you to log into along with interesting information about the area. Don't forget to explore down the other trail to discover another hidden treasure. Just beware of biting fire ants! This pasture's more interesting than most I've been in. Hey, not everyone can say they own land in three states. I wonder how they handle their property taxes....? In order to log this visit, please email the answers to the following questions directly to me. Do not post them in your log! 1. When did Jarret Todd and James Withrow first survey the area? 2. What year was the area remonumented? 3. What does the center of the first survey marker say both above and below the arrow? 4. What is the date of the plaque's dedication? 5. How many actual, physical placemarkers are there related to this area? (Consider your answer carefully)

Cool spot. Stephenjha sending answers.

Kicking off the summer with a great American road trip to celebrate M4ISU’s belated birthday!  After months of planning, I am finally on the road with Stephenjha as my copilot.  I am logging as we go which makes it easier to keep track of the HUGE playlist we are hoping to accomplish.  If all goes well, I’ll drive 2500+ miles, add 50+ new counties, see 5 different states, find some cool cemeteries, increase my Fizzy and Jasmer progress, find 20+ virtuals, a handful of Earthcaches, a Wherigo, and maybe a webcam or 2!  It’s going to be a crazy weekend!

We’ve parted company with Miller and are grabbing counties and virtuals on our way back to Iowa.

TFTC. SL. Thanks for placing this hide for my enjoyment, I really appreciate your effort! CACHE ON!!!

Unterwegs haben wir einige Geocaches absolviert.
Der "Three Corners Virtual Cache" gehörte auch dazu.

Day three of our Epic Adventure the quest for 5000 to Mingo with softball29. Landed in Denver the 26th from Albany N.Y. Traveling and caching 9 states in 7 days. Wow we made a wrong turn in Albuquergue or so it seemed . This was really cool . Out in the middle of no where . Only Geocaching will take you to these hidden gems . Thank you for bringing us here. Four corners eat your heart out , this is not a tourist trap. TFTC

Wasn't sure what the road was going to be like coming in from the north but the surface was graded all the way to the cache. Interesting area with several benchmarks surrounding the three corner mark. Message sent and photo uploaded.

An awesome 6500 km, 9 day road trip from Toronto, Ontario to Mingo in Kansas. Traveling with paperclips29 and joeloescher. Lots of benchmarks to explore! It was cool to walk down the trail and watch the grass move as all the grasshoppers were trying to get out of the way LOL. TFTC

Road trip to Mingo from Toronto, Ontario, Day 4 (Hays, Kansas to Lincoln, Nebraska) with StealthEdge and Joe Loescher. Hitting up some oldies, counties, and a few others that caught our eye along the way.

Love this one!! The sunflowers, grasshoppers, and cacti were a bonus. Fav Point.

The Usual Suspects from Durham (Skyecat, GPS Derek, canmoose, Capers4, SearchinSwifts) were on a six-day driving trip through eight states, to visit some of the oldest caches in those states, including the oldest active cache in the world. It was a lot of driving, but also a lot of fun! As a result of the trip, I have now found five of the 10 oldest caches in North America, and seven of the 20 oldest in the world. Time to plan trips to Oregon and Georgia!

This cache was one of the westernmost of our trip, and one of a few in Colorado. It was certainly cool to find the exact point where the three states meet, even if it was a colossal pain to drive to! Observations were made, answers were sent, and I am logging the find. TFTV

One of our furthest caches away from home on our Road Trip to Mingo. Grabbed some great caches along the way and saw some pretty cool things too.

Thanks for bringing the Usual Suspects from Durham all the way from Toronto, Canada to stand on 3 states at the same time!
