I don't know what it is about "rock overhangs", but we are clearly not on the same page! Searched all the obvious places for a half-hour with no success. But - for the second time ever - I'm giving a DNF a fave point. Just loved the location! Between the superior view and the "surprise" near the top (something I think you will agree is totally unexpected in this setting), this was the most memorable stop in the day.

We set out for a little geocaching in this area today to round out some of the newer containers placed in this muggle-free zone. I wasn't paying attention to the specifics of the caches and couldn't download to my GPSr because the power was out when we left the house. Heading in a clockwise direction today, this was next on the hike for us coming from "Fluffy". "It's 1/2 mile a way and a 4 terrain ... maybe we should leave this for another day" said evgnhiker? "But why?" I asked, "we are here now and it is pretty much the perfect day."
So we pressed onward. Up the 45 degree angle hike of the terrain. I agree with the previous post that the ground is very squishy with pine needles and other debris. We speculated that there was a fire here many many years ago as there are lots of trees that are dead and still upright. I had to test pretty much every tree I touched for leverage to make sure I wasn't going to fall down the hill by using it to push myself up. A little bit of scrambling at the end and I even put my phone in my pocket so it wouldn't end up in 100 pieces if I lost my balance.
The extra effort up here is 100% worth the hike. Perfect time of year with all of the yellows of the Aspens on the way up and the views from the top are fantastic. There are a few odd things going on up here, but you will have to see for yourself when you make the hike. Thanks for the hide!

Whew! Looking at this cache from Denver, I didn't see how this could be a 4 terrain. Seemed like it wouldn't be too hard... boy was I wrong. The last 500 feet or so were tough - spongy ground, no trail, downed trees, and rock hopping. All perfect ingredients for a 4 terrain cache. We arrived at the GZ and ignored the beautiful view until we found the cache. Or more accurately when @Out14nd3r found it.
CO- [FTF] 09-22-2019 at 3:14 pm. I swapped travelbugs, then we relaxed and took in the views. Amazing. I never would have been at this spot if not for the CO's cache placement and geocaching.
Today I joined forces with @Out14nd3r for some mountain geocaching fun. We had this crazy idea of coming up here for a few easy FTFs in the woods. No problem :) About 3.5 miles and 4 hours later we finished.
