This is the Springer fire area. It's very sad to see this but we know he has a plan. The area is closed to all motor traffic so walking in is the way to go. Eye opening walk. Enjoy the wow series.

Thanks for the tour of a once vibrant typical CO ponderosa forest now reduced to a smelly unhealthy remnant. But signs of new growth have begun and nature will reclaim. We must be careful! SL

TFTC This one seemed to be away from our GZ also. About 30 plus feet to the southwest. After finding these away from our GZ we thought about going back to the two DNFs we had, but we were running out of time and to leave the area.
