Welcome to the Denver Orbital Trail or DOT for short. 177 miles of trails that circumnavigate Denver metro broken up into 28 segments. It was created from existing trails, parks and greenways. Most are dog friendly and bike friendly but always check current rules and regulations before you begin any hike. The segments vary in length from 2-12 miles long. Most segments are easy to moderate but there are a few strenuous sections as well.

Follow the Sand Creek river Trail to the Platte River Trail. 

Difficulty: Easy

Distance: 5.6 miles.

Our caching adventure for today was to head out and go find the recently published caches in the area on a very nice day. Nice short quiet walk to GZ. Very nice hide and camo, SL,TFTC

{FTF} at 11:07am. We were determined to get an FTF so drove down to this one. After a brief search found the adorable container. Definitely need tweezers to extract the log ! Great series. We have read about the DOT trail and nice to have a series highlighting it.
