Welcome to the Denver Orbital Trail or DOT for short. 177 miles of trails that circumnavigate Denver metro broken up into 28 segments. It was created from existing trails, parks and greenways. Most are dog friendly and bike friendly but always check current rules and regulations before you begin any hike. The segments vary in length from 2-12 miles long. Most segments are easy to moderate but there are a few strenuous sections as well. 

Segment #28 Arvada Reservoir 

Majestic View Park, Ralston Creek Trail, and Blunn Reservoir. Walk from Majestic View Park to Arvada Reservoir.

Difficulty: Moderately Strenuous

Distance: 10.9 miles.

We headed out to go find at least 3 geocaches to get the Equinox souvenir and also go have lunch at our favorite BBQ place Rib City. Very nice hide and camo, SL,TFTC

Yay!!! {FTF} 1:50 p.m. Finished our morning chores and saw that this terrific new DOT series had published and thought we’d try and find a few somewhat close to home. We don’t have bikes so have to do it the old fashioned way, on foot. We do enjoy a nice hike. Made the find, SL and returned to where found. Love the container, much to reflect on here, beautiful area and view. Nicely done, can’t wait to get them all at some point.
