But...this cache is the first of many that I hope to place in this area over the next couple of years.

The cache container is a camoed ammo box with survival swag, placed on a patch of ground that we plan to visit often.

I was exploring some back roads after visiting Great Sand Dunes National Park. I think this road qualifies as a lonely back road. What a pleasant surprise this cache was! There was only one place it could be and when I looked there it was. I signed the log and left some Get Out of Hell Free cards. Thanks for a fun diversion on my drive. Everything here is in perfect condition.
