My fathers nickname was Short Shot, this cache is placed in his honor and memory. This cache is on the Yampa River near the long gone coal mining community of Mt. Harris just to the east of here.. My father and his brothers, sisters, extended family members and friends had great fun swimming, floating home made boats, fishing and just generally having fun along this stretch of river that passed by the town.
