Closest parking is near the hockey rink at Centennial Park on 1st Street. Bring your own pen. Cache is "above" the beautiful  Big Thompson River & trail so watch kids on the bridge. Please replace cache as found.

I've been running/biking this trail for 25 years since I worked close by.  Since I'm on the road teaching a lot I've "interrupted"  many a run looking for caches. Be sure and stroll under the bridge over 1st Street and check out the fabulous art work in the tunnel on the trail.  Watch for cars on the bridge and bikes and runners below the bridge on the trail and make sure little ones stay on the sidewalk on the bridge. This is my 2nd in my series of "Run Interrupted" caches along this trail .

Cache is located  in a beautiful spot with views of the Big Thompson River.  There are many other caches along this beautiful trail so enjoy your run/bike or even stroll!!  Expect to see deer & geese & other wildlife occasionally. A few years ago I even saw a black bear nearby while biking the trail at dusk. It totally ignored me thank goodness!  On some days you'll see lots of folks enjoying the trail so watch for bikes, runners, strollers etc.
