Scenic view  Dangerous Animals  Parking available  Medium hike (1km-10km)

The cache is a clear container the size of a loaf of bread. It is filled with fossils and toy dinosaurs. Bring some fossils or minerals to replace the great stuff inside.
This cache is the final for the multi-cache Dinosaur Tracks by jshimmin. The city removed the first stage during construction and the cache was archived. I was the last to find the old cache. It had such great swag and was in remarkable shape, it would be a shame to remove it. Jshimmin agreed and charitably let me adopt it. Park at 39d 23.282'N, 104d 48.142'W

Nicely done. Signed log.

Thanks tripman1 for giving me a reason to get outside. It’s always worth it when you are enjoying nature. There is nothing better than acting like a kid again, digging through weeds and climbing trees, all to sign my name on a piece of paper.

Found with Cachly for IOS.

I thought about bushwhacking over from another cache and I'm glad I didn't. Coming in from the trail was a much better option. As I got closer and closer, I had the feeling I was right on top of it and I was. Everything was in good shape here. Thanks for the smiley! Find #3527.

This is a really cool place to hike, the scenery often reminded me of a sci fi movie. Several of these hides will be more difficult as the weather warms up. I felt very lucky I didn't see a snake here today. Only saw one hummingbird, but that could be because five birds of prey were circling the canyon. Hit the caches I needed for the challenge, and I'll be back to get the rest.

Have a quiet weekend so I decided to grab a few for the 360 degrees of Colorado challenge. Hopped in the car kinda early and headed south both Saturday and Sunday. Another cool day today, I think it kept the snakes away. I enjoyed my hikes today, lots of flowers, rocks, cactus and birds to look at. I quit a little earlier today to head home and get some things accomplished, and I believe I'm now below 100 red rays!

Today @WindAtMyBack and I headed south to grab some caches along a trail. A short 2 mile walk in the woods on a beautiful day is the right medicine! During this walk we saw several birds and heard many more. There are so many humming birds here. We watched one playing in the sky, flying straight up, then diving down, and hovering. The few prairie dogs we saw weren't upset by our presence. No snake sightings today. Great caching day!
I meandered around the general area without luck until I looked at the map again. I used a geographical clue to put me in the exact spot of the cache, right at coords. Well placed. TFTC!
