Name is a word-play on the container and themed contents, which are based on the cache's location... 3 of 3 in a series hidden throughout Boulder County to introduce myself to the community and offer some insight to a few interesting regional spots one might miss if not familiar with the area. Had fun putting these together. Enjoy!
Container itself is marked w/ official geocaching.com stickers and includes reflective markings for night caching. Includes weather-proof logbook and pencil...

The residence nearest the cache (on which it is based) was designed by local Architect Charles Haertling (1927-1984). Known locally as the "Mushroom House" it was featured in Woody Allen's 1973 film "Sleeper" and is among Haertling's most famous works. Official name is the "Brenton House" and was constructed in 1969...

lots of burrs. found the exact spot where others’ pictures showed it, but there was nothing there. uncomfortably close to the mushroom house.

I read in several previous logs that the cc was broken, so I brought an empty peanut butter jar from our air b&b rental and replaced it. It’s not green anymore, but it’s waterproof! Added a new log, too but kept as much of the old one as was still here.
This house is fascinating!!
