Found it this time! If for any reason you do the unusual and come in from the NW, you'll probably stop before you get to this one. That's how we missed it the first time. Keep going! From the SE, you might run right over it.
Looking at Google, the posted coordinates put us exactly where we hit zero in the grass each trip. After taking an average while working on the log, I'd guess it's at 40 30.169, -105 00.831.

Now I know why I didn't find it on the first trip. For me the coords are 50' off to the ESE. I found it @ N 40° 30.165 W 105° 00.833 .

Uh oh. While we were searching, and thinking that we might know what we were looking for, we discussed how we have twice been totally embarrassed by one particular hide type that would indeed work very well here. We could tell a long story about one between Loveland and Ft. Collins. Could not find it in the daytime after laboriously moving every 'item' in the field 3 feet uphill for about 10 yards to be sure we didn't miss 'it'. On a subsequent visit, we went back in the dark with a flashlight and spotted it within moments for no particular reason. At a later event, when this cache was archived, Cacheman48 gave it to us the 'memorial trophy' for that one. It still sits in my office.
I have a feeling this is going to be another one of 'those'.

We checked on the cashe today and it is in tact. It’s not buried in the ground and is about the size of a shoebox. Look for “a” rock

Couldn't spot this one.

Turned over a few rocks, but scratched our heads at the idea that a Regular size cache (per current listing) could be hidden here without being buried.
Per gc.com, "Regular containers are 1 to 20 liters. They’re about the size of a shoebox. Many of these caches are ammo cans."
We'll be back another day when we have more time to look for something smaller.

Thank you for feedback. Cashe is fixed.
