My son loved John Deer tractors and we played a game as we traveled, similar to the Punch Bug car game. We would keep track of how many John Deer tractors of any size each person could spot on every single car ride. He also loved cows of all breeds, especially bulls. So if we could keep the contents of this cache to John Deer tractors and cow/bull themed items that would be ideal.
He would of loved GeoCaching!!!
This is our way of continuing to include Ben in the family as we travel and play this new game.

This is a multi-cache that will take you to Ben's grave sight, to pay your respects. While at coordinates given, you will need to answer the following questions in order to find the missing numbers of the coordinates of physical cache location.

N 39 18.AA1 W 10B 14.0C1

AA- Count the number of horse shoes that make up the cross.
B-Count the number of letters that make up Ben's last name.
C-Count the number of letters that make up the epitaph.

How odd that nobody visits this cache for almost 4 months and then 2 groups do it on the same day... oh well. We had the same thing happen as LostinDenver, as I'm figuring out the calculations hubby looked down and said, "Is that it?". Not sure where it's supposed to be but it's definitely not a multicache at this time. Thanks crk for highlighting this tiny cemetery and memorializing BJR.

Today after grabbing a puzzle cache in Parker, I headed to the plains to grab several caches. During my day I saw two Kestrels (I thought they were Merlins, but they aren't), a Golden Eagle, a Red Tailed Hawk, several deer and a bunch of Magpies.
I walked up and started doing the calculations. When I was nearly finished I noticed that the container is sitting right there. I stamped my name, then finished my calculations. Once I had confirmed coords, I looked for another container. Nope. That's the right one. May he rest in peace. TFTC!

Nice tribute. Cache is showing sings of leaking. Needs some weatherproofing. TFTC BigSmile

Stopped on our way back from the Halloween cache. Touching tribute cache. Easy walk to the final. Took a cow (since there were no horses). for our youngest. TFTC!

Find #49167

Its been a long hot summer in Texas, I've been trying to get out and do a caching trip a couple of times this summer, but it never worked out. Finally managed to get a week off, and am so happy to be out here in Colorado. The weather if perfect, and there is a load of caches that need my name on Smile Thanks so much for the hide correllranchkids, I really enjoyed finiding this cache!

We couldn’t find the second stage. A new telephone pole went up recently.

We paid our respects to Ben. We did not have to do the multi steps because the container was hanging on the horseshoes… might need to visit it and re-hide where it belongs.
