[FTF] 9/4/23,5:09pm. After traversing from sky high Ranch we drove North East up the Platte River. With it being the last day of summer everyone was enjoying0 all kinds of water fun. Thanks for showing a part of Boulder we didn't know. TFTC

Yippee! This was our first find in Boulder County and, more exciting, our first [FTF] in Boulder County, coming at 5:09 pm. It's not that I'm obsessed with FTF or anything, but this is my 58th consecutive month with an FTF. And the 20th county in which I've been FTF. This is my 150th FTF in nearly six years of geocaching. Okay, maybe a little obsessed.
I had noticed this one on the unfound map when I planned our trip to Colorado nearly a week ago. But I didn't expect it to remain unfound until we got here a week after publication. Where I'm from (southern California) a cache rarely remains unfound for more than a couple hours!
Aside from the extra FTF glee, I'm really glad you brought us here. This area of CU south is a delightful place to walk, meet dogs, watch them retrieve balls from the lake, and take in the gorgeous views. Even in late afternoon when the mountains are backlit, even when the 20-mph wind nearly knocks us off our feet -- it's a fantastic place to visit.
Thanks for bringing us here, and thanks for the cache!
