The intent of the SHIRT gatherings are to bring geocachers together to share stories of this great hobby, bring new cachers in to meet some of the vets, and for the vets to reconnect.

There is a gazeebo that we will meet under, so shouldn't need an alternate location until the weather starts to turn colder, but I will evaluate as the date gets near. There is plenty of parking available along the street by the park and in the neighborhood.

Finally, why SHIRT (Sending Hunters Into Recesses To Snag)? I have an affinity for the "shirt" and it adds a layer of fun to the event. Special thanks to my amazing wife for fitting a perfect description for geocaching into the SHIRT acronym where I couldn't make it work.

I logged a Will Attend and then changed my mind. Back and forth. Ultimately, I was there and it was thoroughly enjoyable. I will have to find some way to quiet my doubting side. Great to see some old friends and meet f1ipper again (Huntsville, AL). Thanks for hosting these!

I attended with LilRyRy and CDRSheppo. They enjoyed playing on the playground, though I had to save CDRSheppo from being stuck in high places a couple of times. The displays for trackables are wonderful, and I hope I can snag a tumbler at a future event! ;) Thanks for hosting!

Enjoyed coming to this event this morning. I traveled all the way from Huntsville AL when I heard about it, just kidding. I did travel that far but for work. This was the added bonus. Fun to chat with some of the locals here and got a clue or two on some nearby puzzle caches.

We are signed up to do the 'Alice in Wonderland' group outdoor escape-room-style app-based experience that day. We can start that anytime from 9am to 2pm.
As I planned to start that at 10, there is time to meet up with Geocachers before at this event.
They sent me a 50% off code - I don't know if it is still good, but message me if you are interested, as I don't think I'm allowed to share the details here.
