Leroux Creek Series #15- Bailey Reservoir

***PLEASE SEE LEROUX CREEK SERIES #1 FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION***

The fifteenth and final cache in this series is located near Bailey Reservoir. The road proper ends here. You can continue on a few trails on an ATV, however. This reservoir is a popular fishing and camping spot. I tried to place the cache where it would be accessible even when the area is populated, but please use caution hunting when people are present. I hope you enjoyed the trip up here and the caches along the route. Enjoy some fishing in the lake, take a hike around, or enjoy a picnic lunch. For numerous years, there have been sightings of a mated pair of bald eagles swooping down to grab a meal out of the lake. Did you see them?

Happy Hunting!

Congrats to blueskiescindy on the FTF!

Had to be sneaky on this one. Muggles were thick. Also whole area around cache seems to be a toilet. Pretty gross. People need to learn to bury their poo and paper

I love(not) these clues about trying to find wood or a tree in the forest. Even with the bounce, I was able to spot the cache. What a great reservoir. Aside from a camper and two other trucks pulling out early in the afternoon, I had this entire series all to myself. Must be getting late in the year. There were lots of fish hitting the surface at sunset, most of them mocking me and my spinning rod. I did see a lone eagle and he actually came down to the water once to try and grab a meal. No sign of the mate however. This is definitely a place that I'd like to return to with the proper fishing equipment. Beautiful end to the day looking at the mountains in the background behind the lake. Thanks for bringing me up here.
