1030 That was a steep little climb at the end! Took longer to get back down than it did to go up.

Actually the entire trip took longer than it would take most people as I hiked up from the gate (about 2 1/2 miles) so as not to beat my vehicle up. The road even up to that point seems to be rougher than what I recalled from last September. The heavy snows from last winter took their toll. Also doubt that I could have gotten the gate open by myself. I did not see anyone all morning until returning back to the gate when someone in a truck came through.

It's always nice to find an ammo can.
