Thanks for the fun puzzle cache! Staying in Estes for the holiday weekend. Geokid slept in as we went for a long hike yesterday. Geodog Dakota and I were up early this morning for the nice hike to the cache. Left him tied up before making the short scramble to the top. Left a heart stone and swag. SL.

I solved this puzzle right after it was published, but with the Big T road closure, I've waited for a convenient time to make the hike/climb into the final cache location. I had planned to do this on June 3rd, after finding the "To Boldly Go" multicache (by Path Pacer) on Crosier Mountain. But "Boldly" required three trips up and down the Rainbow Pit Trail on Crosier that morning, leaving me with little desire to hike anymore that day. So on my way from Crosier up to Estes Park, out of respect for a forthcoming adventure I simply waved toward the final location of this nice puzzle as I drove by.
Today I drove over Trail Ridge Road to complete the 2017 version of Across The Divide GeoTour. I had planned to make a long hike after I was finished, to check on three of my owned caches in the Porphyry Peaks area. Alas, after an hour of driving in on the approach I came to a closed gate 4 miles from my trailhead destination. The late May snowstorm resulted in a continued closure of the road well past its normal opening date. So, what to do with the time I suddenly had available today? Well, I discovered a cache (Eagles Perch) that had been found only once, almost a year ago, that entailed a short hike. So my puppy Orizaba and I made the effort to reach it and sign its log. Then, after stopping in Estes Park to collect my geocoin for finishing the GeoTour, I decided to get after the final on Transformers Trail. We found the trail parking area (I've hiked this trail before with Denali Queen and my puppy Teewinot) and made the hike up to the climbing scramble required to reach the cache location. Once there, I need to admit to a longer search than should have been required. I'm certain I looked at the cache 2 or 3 times before recognizing it for what it is! Well camoed, indeed. Thanks for this puzzle, Path Finder. And thanks for the nice cache.

I haven't been caching much over the last two months as I only found two caches in April, one in May, and none in June until this one. I also haven't been able to get to the high country very much either. So since Hwy 34 is now open I decided to do both. My first stop this morning was the Twin Sisters Trailhead. I arrived at 7:15 and set off for the top. There was some snow in the trees up high on the trail but after getting beyond the trees the snow that was on the trail was almost all avoidable. I went up the West Sister first and then back down across the saddle and made the short scramble up to the East Sister. Snapped a bunch of photos and then headed back down to my waiting truck. Made the round trip in under four hours.
Then after eating a sandwich I headed north for the final of this cache. I had solved the puzzle sometime during the winter but had not had the opportunity to go for the final. I arrived at the designated parking area and found the little known trail. Wow, it's a gem! Some day I'll have to hike it much further to check things out. After reaching the designated trail departure coordinates I loaded the final coordinates into my GPSr. Yep, that's the location I suspected. It was a fun scramble to the cache site and with just a little searching I found the well hidden container. There's some nice swag in the box, including a Mondo whistle. But I just signed the log and left it all there for the next finder.
Thanks Path Pacer, it's a really nice final location!!!

This is my first ever "FTF"!! I had always wondered how it must feel. Thanks for the cool FTF prize, I will send it out on its way! Great geocache in a great location, thank you very much for leading me there. I had never been aware of that trail previously. I made my find after a mountain bike ride on Crosier Mountain, a great way to spend the morning!

Argh! Stupid mistake on my part. I messed up the coords in the puzzle, but I've fixed it now. So sorry to anyone who's been working on this and wondering why the geochecker wouldn't work. I thought I'd checked it carefully, but after checking it again today, I had to kick myself.
