Oops, almost forgot to log this. Lots going on that weekend and I came in near the end, but still got to visit with geoguru1 and meet some go the other hosts. Still Sad about the reason for this event though.

Seeing as I'm a traveler from afar, I wasn't planning on visiting this event in memory of a cacher I never knew. But the whole family went down for naps back at the Dino hotel right around this time, and I figured I might try to catch this event before it ended. The driving took a little longer than I planned, I saw a few people when I got there, nodded, but I couldn't find a logsheet to sign. That might've already been put away.
Anyway, thanks for the event.

In honor of Bob and as I was the first attendee, I'm proudly claiming the FTF for the event in his honor - there was nothing he liked better than making the elusive FTF.

Enjoyed chatting, catching up with some friends and meeting some new faces to go with familiar names.

Many enjoyments were had.

Thank you geoguru1 and HendrickClan for hosting this event. It was a nice way to celebrate a couple of the things that gave Bob pleasure in life. I enjoyed meeting new (to me) cachers and hearing how Bob had impacted the local geocaching community. He'll be missed!

Thank you for creating a Remembrance event. Sometimes as a geocacher you only see that hobby side of a person, so I enjoyed the pictures and stories about Bob. Thank you for bringing snacks, it made my young son happy.

I was very sorry to hear about Bob. I met him several times at caches, and enjoyed talking with him and even doing a few finds together. I have a conflicting event, or I would definitely come to this event. I hope you all share some good memories of Bob.

Met up with Robespierre several times on the hunt for the sometimes elusive FTF. He was always engaging.

I'll be there, probably with my son. I met him once, he was a minute ahead of me getting the FTF. He was nice and let me sign it before hanging it back up where I wouldn't have been able to reach it on my own.

Hope i Can make this one. I never got to meet the man but we were sometimes mere minutes apart on FTF runs. He will be missed by all.

Funny how we think we know people, but there's always some subject that we don't learn about them until it's too late. Bob & I talked about lots of things at work, just not geocaching. I'll try to be there to celebrate the kind and unique person that I knew.

Sad to hear about robespierre. I've met on the hunt a few times and he was a good guy. Lateralus16 and I plan on attending.

OMG! I just heard about his sudden passing last night at the Conundrum event! Bob & I were good geocaching messaging puzzle solving cohorts. Just this last spring we must have helped each other solve at least 6 puzzles in the Parker area.
Unfortunately I only remember meeting him in person once out in the field caching (with you, geoguru1) in Highlands Ranch OS a couple of years ago?
I will plan to attend this event to honor a special friend.

Very sad. I exchanged emails with Bob off and on for the past couple of years. We finally met up for the first time in July to go caching and we were working on some puzzles together. Will try to make it if my plans change.

I can't attend but I am so sad! Bob was a big help to me countless times and he beat me to FTF by minutes more times than I can count. My son and I bumped into him at a FTF quest once where the coords were off by like 3 blocks and once we contacted the CO, we all made the find together. This is a big loss for our area.

Oh no, i am so sad to hear that. Met him once or twice and he was fun. Another Bob that goes Geocache in heaven! RIP Robespierre!
