After 5 years of caching we thought we'd finally try our hand at hiding one. And of course no one can have just one so we thought we'd do a series about the great dogs we have been fortunate enough to have as part of our family.

Dog #1 was Boots. She was an amazing Shepherd/Collie mix. She was great with the kids, allowing them to lay on her, tug her fur, and otherwise torment her. In fact our oldest son learned to walk by hanging on to her. She lived a long full life and was the first of many wonderful dogs we've had as part of our lives.

Got out and about on a pleasant late summer day to find some geocaches - this was the fifth stop on a park-once-find-six excursion. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Our caching adventure for today was to head out and go find the recently published caches in the area on a very nice day. I broke out the trusty "geo-bat bike" to go after some of the new trail caches. Coming back here brings back A LOT of memories of spending 25 years at Rocky Flats. Talking about the days of HIGH ADVENTURE there! Its very interesting seeing the old stage stop still there and standing. Very nice hide, SL,TFTC

Over at the nearby Quackin' cache, picked up this one too. Nice series, great looking dogs. Thanks for the parking cords, thought I might have to walk from the parking lot for the grab. Nice View. TFTH SL
