Traveling to our other caches we found a site for a microcache placement. The cache is a camo'd 1" X 3" bottle. It contains a few swag items for trade. There is no log book. The cache was placed there for fun to snag when you pass through.
Located on FS Road 514 outside the San Juan National Forest. You can reach it by crossing the Bradfield Bridge Dolores river crossing for access. It is rough and washboard right now. Use FS 521 to reach FS 514. Or you can take the Dolores-Norwood rd north out of Dolores, CO and turn west on FS 514.

It is best to have a good map such as FS San Juan National Forest map or the free Street and Road Map of Montezuma County will work. The latter is readily available at restaurants and motels in Cortez, CO.

I was out that way for a small job and figured since I was there....

I had a couple of other caches lined out as well but between monsoons and muggles this was the only one I was able to pick up. I dropped off CITO Geocoin.

Certainly is a pretty place. I'll have to go back with the for fun with the family and get those others.
