"I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth."
This is the fourth in a series of four mystery caches that requires solving and visiting the first three puzzles to acquire the variables used in the encryption formula.

a= the speed which the White Horse travels;
b= the number, plus two at the base of the power pole near the Red Horse;
c= the East/West street block of the relevant road upon which the Black Horse rides.

The cache is not at the primary coordinates. In order to find and log this cache you will have to solve the following problem:

North coords = 39° 42. (c/a)+b-41
West coords= 105° 11. (c/b)/b+528

Feel free to use this link to check your calculations.

When logging this cache please comment on the series; perhaps what your thoughts are about the implications. Failure to express something relevant may result in deletion at our discretion.

I found #1 on Monday and #3 last December. Was also able to deduce the final coordinates without #2. Cache is in great shape. SL.

I splurged on a new bike the other day and today was the day to do my first ride on it. I rode 26 miles and found a bunch of geocaches along the way including this one at 12:25 pm. Thanks for the cache!

I found #1 last October on another bike ride. I found #3 in 2014. I never found #2 and since it is archived, it's not likely to be found any time soon. But I was able to figure out the coordinates for this cache with just the two finds.

The cache's description claims one can only find this fourth and final cache of the series as a bonus after doing the other three first. Well, I was preparing my trip to Denver and even though I had solved all four puzzles unfortunately I had no way to visit the other sites during my stay. This one however was easily accessible on the way back from a hike at dinosaur ridge. Being in the car of my colleague and his wife - both muggles - I could convince them to take a little detour and let me grab this cache. Easy grab, just park at the edge of the road and walk over to the obvious host to make a quick find.
Thanks for hiding this series - always liked the book of revelations and all the spin-offs the 4 horsemen had undergone in literature, music, TV and movies. I definitely had a great time (virtually) solving all four puzzles before even arriving in Denver and think this find of the bonus-part is a great compensation for not being able to get to the other three locations.

A bit far out, but reachable today

Hasn't been found in nearly 3 years!!! Have had final on my phone for a bit and was finally nearby and remembered to look. No luck at first and worried I kept bad notes. Then found it!!! In good shape and ready to be found in 2019.
Found using a seventh galaxy!

Cache still in good shape after almost another 18 months. Did the first 3 in series a while back, had to revisit two sites to get the clues for this one. Did not quite catch the significance of this cache location, might see a fit with the title but it is a bit of a stretch. Thanks for a fun series.

WOW! first to solve / find in 18 months! The 4 caches are all in good shape. The series were decent puzzles, but I spent more time finding them than solving. #3 threw me a curveball, but powered through it and got the final to "check" ok. Thanks for your efforts!

Fun puzzle, interesting area, good hide. I find the conflict between foretelling the future and free will to be an interesting one - if the future can be described in advance, then there is no point in trying to do anything about it - but if we have a choice, then we can decide to strive to make the prediction false (and perhaps even succeed) - quite a conundrum. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Well, it's only taken me a couple years to finish this one up. Solved #1 at my second look (easier than I though it would be) and found it April 28, 2008. Actually solved #2 first (late 2007) but didn't search it out (because of a string of DNFs) until September 16, 2008. #3 gave me the hardest time but got the find on October 1, 2009. Then I tried to figure out the final and it didn't work. Finally went back to #3 a couple days ago - made sure of the correct number - and got success. Thanks for having geochecker or I'd still be out there wandering around. As far as a religious theme goes I don't know why anyone would have a problem with it. It's just clues to a puzzle.

This was a fun puzzle series, but like some others, I am not sure the theme is consistent with the goals of Geocaching. I have enough to worry about without looking for the Four Horsemen over my shoulder. This cache is in good shape. Coordinates are right on. Vort.

Got the last one today, two years after I first started on it. I liked the series; even though I'm leery of Revelation, it does make for an interesting puzzle. I have a Mafia-themed cache that might be controversial as well, so I'm OK with outre caching themes-- as long as, as mentioned by other finders here, you don't beat people over the head with them.

That being said, the container was come apart when I found it, and its log book was lying on the ground. Amazingly, everything was intact, even though it's been nine months. I put it back together and count it... well, providential that I chose to look for this final today and save its life.

Thanks for a great series! I hope to see another one soon...
