Henley is our youngest grandson who loves to go geocaching.  He has been caching since he was an infant and has cached in 16 countries, on 3  continents, and in 19 of the United States.  Because we have enjoyed so many fun caching days with Henley here in Colorado Springs, we wanted to place another cache in his honor here.  This is number six in a series of caches.  Numbers one, three, and five in this series are hidden in Arizona, placed by his parents.  Numbers two and four in this series are hidden in northeast Colorado Springs.  Be watching .............  some day there may be a cache named, "I'm Henley the Eighth, I Am" in some far away location!

This cache is a simple, two-stage multicache hidden in Austin Bluffs Open Space.  To keep the adults happy, this is a travel bug hotel where you can exchange your trackables.  Please do not retrieve a trackable from the container unless you also drop off a trackable.  If you wish, you are welcome to drop off your extra trackables to keep them moving along.  To keep the kids happy, the final container is full of toys that they can choose from.  Please only take one toy and feel free to drop off toys for other kids to pick up.  The idea is for this cache to be self-sustaining for both trackables and toys.

The final container is padlocked.  The combination to the padlock is 816.

Dropped three trackables in this cache today and retrieved one trackable. There are now five trackables in the cache (A Shellback Travel Bug is missing), including two trackables with a Star Wars theme. Come and find them.

Stopped by to trade for some TBs. Looks like someone has been here since the last round of maintenance. Just a few bugs remain. I dropped off a coin I found near Monument in hopes of moving it along. All was in good shape.

I tried to reattach the lock/chain in such a way to prevent the cache from being opened. However, my first two attempts, I was able to undo the handle despite the lock and chain. I finally locked it through both ends of the chain (close together) and passed the lock shackle through the container handle. That should at least slowdown anyone trying to break in. Hopefully muggles and miscreants leave this one be. It's such a nice hide. Thanks for being good GC parents!

Needed to find a TB hotel for one particular TB I had in my possession and had not been to this one, yet. Made my way here, left a particular TB that needs to stay in the COS area, took two others in return and left the same way I came.

I do have to say, with the geology like it is in the GZ area, I kept wanting to look for bison tubes in the rocks since it seems to be a popular GC design. Old cache habits die hard I guess or need to be refreshed from time to time.

Fun multi! My son and I wanted to do a short hike after church. I spotted this one and knew it was an area he could hike. In fact, I remember a stage to another multi nearby and went to check. I was amazed to see remnants still there! Sl, thanks!

I have wanted to drop some travel bugs for a couple of weeks. When I saw this new cache pop up, I now had a great option. So on my way home from work today, I headed over to it. Thanks to gampa&gamma for this excellent, well-stocked and fun multi! Thanks for providing the opportunity to trade out travelers.

Yeah! {FTF}! I happened to have been out of work early today and was caching up by Ute park. I finished the cache I was working on and headed over to this one. I parked and hiked out to the GZ. I do so love this little area in town. Such a great reminder of how much space we have around us. Found the end quickly and celebrated when I saw the log was blank. I do have to say I loved finding the final, I love caches this size. It reminds me of the Ole days in caching. :) After this cache I ran around the area and nabbed a few more caches I haven't gotten when previously in the area. Thanks for the great hunt!
