Our first hide in a [mostly] private area with some great trees.

My son a I located this cache in a stand of gargantuan cottonwood trees adjacent to a dry little stream bed. There's plenty of evidence that it often isn't so dry. No matter - you should have no problems locating the hide without stepping foot into it. I recommend parking at the end of the road (running north/south) to the east of the cache; there is a nice little trail that starts there.

Thanks to Brother Triggur for providing the geo-booty, which includes a stone-carved sea otter. Also left a travel bug that Family Viruwool nabbed while in Jolly Old England this summer. May it find its goal in Argentina!

Cache was empty so we stocked it! GPS has it on the south side of the creek, FYI

Found the container full of water and nothing else. Placed a new baggie and log. Took a couple pictures with the tree. I think it's the largest I've ever seen.

Day 662 of the streak—
Had to make a quick run out after a magnificent meal with fiddleguy and family.
This beautiful matriarch has some stories to tell, I imagine. I saw this and thought the word “Ent!”
Nice and dry inside!
Thank you for bringing me here!
