Replaced, moved and NEW SWAG 3-24-12-- From this Cache, look south and you will see too! Flat terrain from parking area for 300 ft. Off of County Road 371 (the Tunnel Road). This is an small rubbermaid large enough for trade items and bugs! Elephant Trade items are encouraged! In the Civil War, the mining (49ers) and pioneering old days, "seeing the Big Elephant" was a big deal and this is "one big deal Elephant" when you look to the South! Coords for the Elephant are 38° 53.083'N 106° 9.107'W
Parking area is near the cache (free). There is also Free camping in the area. There are no restrooms and camping requires you to bring your own self contained unit.
Don't forget to visit the Gold Panninig 101 and Cactus Cache's nearby! "Cache as Cache Can" is parking real close by too!
Congratulations ArtInColorado for the FTF!
This cache was an ammo can, muggled/stolen that originally contained Small American Flag, American Flag Pencils, Mining Pencils, Crayons, Tiger Beanie Baby (small), Old No7 Patch, Postcard, First-to Find Card and First-to Find Lottery Ticket.
This cache provides a perfect perspective of the Big Elephant!
