Headed this way because lasouthpaw wanted a cache for her D/T grid. I've learned any time she says "there's this challenge..." it's best to just nod and go along. We got a late start, but had a great hike out and back. I overlooked it, she found it (she is O-N-I-T today). Thanks for the cache!

I've been craving some time in the mountains and luckygecko is in town, so we headed over to Golden and the Beaver Brook Trail. We got here mid-afternoon and it was cloudy, but that was a good thing because it kept the temperature around 65 degrees. About a mile down the trail I realized I made a rookie mistake and forgot a pen. And we were just a little too far to go back and get one. Wouldn't you know it, we found a pencil while we were looking for the first one along the trail. We found this one on the way back instead of on the way out. We didn't read logs and didn't know this one was replaced slightly differently than the original. We didn't find it right away, but it didn't take too long, either. Used the "don't be afraid to look where your caching buddy already searched" rule to find this one. Everything is in good shape here.
