Takes less than an hour  Available at all times  Available during winter  Parking available  Drinking water nearby  Public restrooms nearby  Bicycles  Short hike (less than 1km)

In 2005, in my first few months of geocaching, my geocaching buddy NGBColorado and I found the original Tunnel Quartet. We were amazed by it. Since then we have become more sophisticated and aren't surprised by this type of cache. Earlier this year I won a similar type of container at an event raffle. I have been wondering where to place this container. Last week on a walkabout I spied the original location so voila, Tunnel Quartet Redux.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THE CACHE IF IT IS RAINING OR IF COTTONWOOD CREEK IS SWELLED.

ALSO, BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU ARE SEARCHING NOT TO KNOCK THE CONTAINER FROM IT'S PERCH AND WHEN SIGNING THE LOG, PLEASE MOVE AWAY FROM THE EDGE WHEN YOU ARE OPENING THE TINY CONTAINER, TO GIVE YOU A BETTER CHANCE TO FIND IT IF YOU DROP IT.

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WRITING UTENSIL AND A LOG REMOVAL INSTRUMENT. ALSO, PLEASE PLACE THE LOG IN THE TOP OF THE CONTAINER BEFORE ATTACHING THE BOTTOM.

OTHER THAN THAT, HAPPY HUNTING.

There I was in the rarest of thin air at over 29,000 feet looking for Tupperware in a rock field (oh fun) when I get a geocaching notification of a new geocache placement by KenyanSherpa. After looking at the local mountain goat & marmont population and cairns, I decided to make my way down from such a height to this water-bound facility where I had to cross the mighty Cottonwood Creek to get the cache. It wouldn't be any fun if you did this on a dry early fall day where the water level would be just barely above ankles. No, you need to wait until it's a full fledge torrent of water coming down and filling the tunnels. Just by the looks of these, they could be confused with the old style Quonset Huts that hid aircraft in them but I digress.

Using my aforementioned rock field and cairn climbing skills, I was able to make my way and do a thorough search before finding the subject of the search. At that point, using my fine pointed writing implement, I was able to take up minimal space on the log to sign my name. Thank you for the geocache in this wonderful peaceful location. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go back to altitude and find the Tupperware in a rock field with cairns around.

(Yes, the log is certainly filling up, but there are 6 or 7 more spaces for names and dates when people use fine pointed writing instruments after they find the cache.)

I wasn’t going to even attempt this one, but was in the area and decided to give it a try. I eventually spotted it but then needed a little help to retrieve it. Help came, retrieved the cache, signed it and replaced where found. Whew!! Does it deserve a favorite point? Yes, probably so since I’ll never forget this one, for sure!!

Whew! I wasn’t sure if I could get this one in my current condition, but gave it a try anyway. I spotted it then got into position to sign the log. Boy, was it hot, but I persevered. TFTC.

Using teamwork we made the find by feel. Definitely one of the more challenging caches we have found. Earned a favorite from us. That thing is tiny. Glad it hasn't been lost. Use care in getting log out. Tftc
