This is one of eight Special K hides on the Loveland bike path. Congrats to Pixelmagic for FTF. This cache is solely to commemorate the newest part of the bike path! This is not a typical Special K's hide because we feel that there is nothing special at all about it (except there is $1.00 for the first to find)!! If you are by car, access to the bike path is near the tire store near Hwy 287 and 57th. The bike path crosses under Hwy 287.
We couldn't wait for more bike path to open up but were quite surprised the first time we took it. There is absolutely nothing out here!! Not really any views so to speak, definitely no trees or landscaping...just a lot of nothing. There are a lot of fields & some backyards. So, we thought, why not put a cache out here. Again, we hope you aren't disappointed with this one. It's nothing special, we just felt like it.
We can't wait for the bike path to come full circle!! Not much more to go!!

Found the cache. It had a nice new and dry log. And there is plenty to see out here. Cattle, fences, grass, homes and wide open spaces; especially wide open spaces. Great views. Signed the log and replaced the cache. Thanks LillieRose for the cache. By the way, when are you going to get back out and find some more caches with us?

Merry Christmas and a beautiful afternoon to get in a quick walk with LillieRose. Replaced container and all is good now.

Pretty quick, but needs some maintenance. The inside is slightly wet.

This one was made harder than t should have been by the poor coordinates; I finally gave up trying to follow my GPSr and went with my geosense. I used the Google Maps satellite photo to obtain the coordinates at the top of this log; they should lead seekers much closer to the hiding place. Nice job but for the coordinates; TFTC!

My GPS led me about 35 feet away from the cache, but it was still kind of a no-brainer--there aren't that many places to hide a container and I just went for the big obvious place. The container doesn't look as though it will last or be waterproof, but so far so good. TFTC!
