Cowboy spent a restless night camped close to a site he knew was once used by the Anasazi warriors.  Although the Anasazi were present several hundred years before Cowboy's time, he felt their spirits.  A cold chill from a north wind made sleeping even more difficult as he saw warrior ghost spirits swirl up in the dust dancing before his fire.  He knew he needed to leave a gift to the spirits and move on quickly.
The cache is a regular size camo container with lots of trading swag. Plenty of space to leave larger items or trackables.  While the cache is not far from the road and easy walking, Cowboy placed this cache where it will be difficult to find.  Trust your GPS and you should succeed.  If you don't, send McPhee an email and he will provide a clue.

We're on a trip from Michigan to see the Grand Canyon with many stops along the way. Spending a couple of days in Cortez to see Mesa Verde and rest up, so we had to grab a few cache. Nice series.

We are teaching our 4 year old grand twins how to cache, they are nuts about it! They are pretty darn good at it too! They are fun to watch as they follow the GPS. They choose the cacheing names of cacher boy and Roarkie and were thrilled when we signed their names!
They love the cowboy caches as much as we do. They are thrilled to find every cache, regardless of whether it has swag or not! Roarkie said " since I put in 2 things I can take 2 things!" They are so fun!
