This cache is named after the fear of loud, flushing toilets. The bathrooms here at Challenger sure scared me badly as a kid. About 11 years ago, my grandpa and I went a walk near his house. We ended up here at Challenger when I needed to use the bathroom. When I was done, I walked about from the toilet and it flushed. Being three years old, the toilet was huge, loud, and scary. I started to back up from the toilet, scared, when I looked at my grandpa and saw him doing something similar to the dance that Goofy does in the Micky Mouse Clubhouse. As a toddler, this terrified me for years. I would never go anywhere near a toilet until I was almost 7. After the matter, we would laugh at this story and remember the fun times we had on our walks. In October of last year, my grandpa passed away from terminal liver cancer at 74 years old. Love and miss you Gramp. Fly high. The cache is on a light post near the bathrooms about 15 feet in the air.

09/01/2024 By Back Country Horsemen It appeared Sunday afternoon would be a good time to find this so I walked out to see what I would need returned to my car retrieved my TOTT and just as I was getting into position two men came slowly walking toward me. I thought maybe they were cachers but I ducked into the dugout to wait & see where they went. It was obvious they’d seen me because as they slowly strolled between the ball fields one kept looking back at me but finally they got out of view so I went to work with my TOTT and just as it was within reach I turned around and there was a little boy came out from behind the dugout & he stayed to watch me so I said hi & he asked what was up there & I asked if he’d heard of geocaching and he said no so I suggested he search it since I know they’re so web savy. Then I said it’s like a treasure hunt then he said oh yeah, I know what that is, he plays for fun in his neighborhood. He sat in the dugout & finished his granola bar as I returned the cache to its place. So not as muggle free as I initially thought.
08/20/2024 By Kroozer The maintenance guys were fascinated by this hide and after I found it, retrieved it, signed the log, and replaced it, we had a nice chat about geocaching. Thanks for the cache! (Had to do this one as it had such an unusual story!)
