This is the replacement of the cache originally known as Dry Dock. It is located at an historic site in the heart of the Red Feather Lakes area.

While looking for a cache nearby, Pixel Magic contacted the owner of a restaurant and talked about geocaching over lunch. Yum. A cache was supposed to have been placed on their property. It was not to be found. The children of the restaurant owner wanted to tell us about another cache that they knew about nearby. They showed us and we discovered an abandoned cache and knew that it could not be placed within 528' of the cache we were looking for. Puzzling. The found cache was no longer in the system. It was archived.

Long story made short, we are now able to place this found cache in its original container. Enjoy. The nearby historic site may be visited. Keys are available at the Library.

We headed up to the hills to spend some quality time with the hubby and kids for father's day. We planned to go up deadman and across to Bull Mountain. We moved one downed tree off the road, but at tree #2 we realized we were in for a really long day if we kept going. We turned around and found a nice trail to hike and enjoy. Then took a drive down elf lane and stopped at the museum and grabbed this cache and learned a little history. Thank you guys for having a cache for me to find in almost every place I wander.
